Showroom or independent installer
Through a Pella showroom. Pella of Long Island sends someone to the house to show samples, measure and quote on the spot, and Pella’s crews install. Buying this way is the only route to the Pella Care Guarantee, which Pella says covers products and installation, labor included, for up to 10 years.
Through an independent contractor. Pella runs a certified contractor program, and its 250 Series is also sold at Lowe’s. You can get competing quotes, but the installation warranty comes from whoever installs, not from Pella.

Pella’s own online store lists a Lifestyle double-hung at $647.16 and an Impervia double-hung at $787.23 for the window itself. No Long Island company we found publishes installed per-window prices for Pella.

Full-frame replacement, where the whole frame comes out instead of fitting a new window into the old one, adds 20 to 30%.
The warranty fine print near the water
Pella’s lifetime coverage is for the original purchaser of a home they live in, and labor is covered for the first two years. An older Pella branch warranty page limited aluminum cladding coverage to homes at least two miles from coastal waters. Plenty of Long Island houses are closer than that, so if you are near the shore, ask the showroom to show you the current clause for the line you are buying.
